No matter how many spiritual texts one reads or spiritual teachers that are listened to … if all you do is parrot chapter and verse it gives no indication of your level of spirituality. It is your actions and not your words that count. Knowledge is not wisdom. How we live our own personal inner truths is a much better indication of where we are on our spiritual pathways. We must take responsibility for our own lives and not expect a teacher or a saint, a friend or a psychic to wave a magic wand and change our lives, that is our job. There are those who don’t want to do the work and blame others for their failures. Each lifetime is a personal journey and not always easy but always worthwhile if we put the effort into it.
Recently someone was disappointed because the magic did not happen in their life. They blamed everyone but themselves. Passing blame is just another way of not taking responsibility for your own dilemmas. I know it isn’t always easy but life will send back to us what we put into it. We can’t hide in projects and avoid situations and think they will resolve themselves … balance and commitment to life in all aspects, drawing on our creative energies and sharing unconditionally brings richness to our lives; maybe not winning the lottery but abundance none the less. Take control of what life brings you, don’t ignore the problems and balance everything. Not always easy but always rewarding.
‘Til Next Time….
Spiritually Yours
