The Sixth Chakra
The SIXTH CHAKRA
INTUITION, FEARLESSNESS, IMAGINATION
The sixth chakra represents electrical Indigo and governs the third eye chakra. It clears the psychic currents of the body freeing the mind from anxieties and fears. This cosmic color affects the pineal gland, which influences the nervous, mental and spiritual potential of man. It can also help get rid of obsessions and treat stomach aches and lung complaints.
6th chakra is the eye of wisdom. This chakra is sometimes identified with the pituitary gland, the master gland. This is the third eye. In this center, a person harmonizes the opposing energies, and balances the yin and yang. A person experiences himself in the fullness of the “I Am,” the union of the selves.
The chakra has control over seeing, not only in the physical sense but in the mystical sense. Intuitive seeing, clairvoyance and other forms of knowing and the paranormal are part of this chakra. It controls all higher mental activities. Also, through the power of a person’s mind, he can create new realities for himself on the physical plane. The person activating the sixth chakra would be concerned with things beyond earthly goals, which divert many people from fulfilling their Dharma.

Element | The sixth chakra is associated both with light and with psychic abilities. This chakra provides a source of inner knowing, as well as an objective of how things are. By being focused on a commitment to the truth and flexibility of thought, people with clear sixth chakras usually have a sense of life’s realities that surpass usual conscious barriers. For this reason, the sixth chakra is connected with higher levels of wisdom and a level disposition. It is located between the eyebrows. When this chakra is closed or blocked, you may have trouble seeing the big picture of events that are unfolding in your life. The truth of matters can be dwarfed in details, and you may become easily confused. Wind or Air is the element of thought and movement.
