Nicholas Roerich – an inspiration and muse hidden in time

I came upon this master when I fell in love with his paintings that were used in Elizabeth Claire Prophets books “The Lost Years of Jesus”. I found the power in the paintings touched me to the core and felt that there was great spiritual energy within his work… I was right. This was an amazing master of not only of painting but of spiritual insight and philosophy as well. I encourage everyone to learn more of him and his work. He was an artist, writer, humanist, philosopher, educator, archeologist, and peacemaker. He left a legacy that spans four continents and comprises over 7,000 paintings, drawings, and set and costume designs; thirty books; countless articles and lectures. The Roerich Peace Pact – a remarkable treaty that sought to preserve cultural monuments during times of war – signed in the White House in the presence of President Roosevelt and many other world leaders, earned him a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize as well as the ardent support of Albert Einstein, H.G.Wells, and George Bernard Shaw.

His work is amazing, not only the paintings which move me deeply, but his philosophy and spiritual insight as well. His wife, Helena, also was a gifted and spiritual individual and contributed greatly to their contribution to all of humanity. This is indeed a man worth studying and his paintings will take your breath away… he really did see into other realms and draw energy from those dimensions, take a look and see if you don’t agree with me, I know his work touches me deeply. He painted in tempera, trekked the Himalayas on donkey back and mixed his paints with melted snow and carried the canvases rolled up with him. There is a museum in New York City dedicated to his work as well.

Love and Light –
